CSKC Committee meetings are now being held on every second Tuesday of the month at Gymea Bowling Club (next door to Gymea Tradies). Start time is 6pm and dinner and refreshments are available.

Saturday Club Races
Our Saturday afternoon club races have been very successful with over 50 participants competing in the last event on 4 June. There was a good mixture of age groups with quite a few junior paddlers from various surf clubs joining in the racing with our regulars.

K1 Kayak & Ski Test Paddle and Demo Day

Hello Everyone, and we mean EVERYONE who has an interest in the wonderful sport of paddling.
We are experiencing an increasing demand in the K1 paddling amongst the CSKC members which is wonderful to witness as this is the original pedigree of our beloved club that goes back a few decades.As the result we have partnered up with our good friends at the Australian Paddle Sports for a SUPER SPECIAL Season Starter.
Australian Paddle Sports are the ANZ Distibutors for some of the highest quality brands in the paddling world, including the top quality European made Vajda Kayaks and Surfskis, Jantex paddles, Carbonology Sports, KayakFirst Ergometers, and many more.
So please join us and the helpful team of the Australian Paddle Sports at Swallow Rock Reserve on Saturday 30th at 11.00am for your chance to test paddle a K1 or a Surfski/SLSA Ski or even super compact top quality KayakFirst Ergometer.
This wonderful demo day will then be followed by our first official race of the season which is our President’s Cup and the Doubles Race. Of course, there will be a BBQ and our popular meat raffle too. So this is an event not to miss.
We only NEED you to let us know what level of K1 or Surfski you would like to test in order to help us in our preparation.
Updated Race Calendars for 2023
The racing committee has recently finalised the race calendars for 2023 and they are now available on the club website. 2023 Race Calendars
This year our website displays two seperate race calendars. The first calendar just shows the club races which are held at Swallow Rock. The second calendar shows all the external events (Marathon Series, State Series, Harbour Series, National Championships) as well as the club races.
We wish all our members a happy and successful new season of racing in 2023!
New Stock of Club T-shirts and Caps
Our first batch of newly designed club T-Shirts and Caps sold out very quickly in 2021 and as a result another order has been placed by the club. We expect to be able to supply members with the new merchandise at the end of April when the Autumn series racing kicks off on 30 April 2022
